ORIGINS AND ETYMOLOGY

Astro-English: from Astronese, the phrase astral projection is based on the existence of the astral body which, as a formalised concept, holds Platonic origins but had existed prior to him; the addition of the word projection is used to denote “movement” or “protrusion” which manifests as the belief in this astral body as possessing the ability to travel throughout The Cosmos.
